About this care
Kinderdagverblijf Vlindertuin is located in the centre of Breda at Zandoogjes 9. We are part of Kober kinderopvang, a professional organisation with over 200 locations in West-Brabant. Everything we do is about providing space for development. We offer childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in three spacious, atmospheric groups. Each group has its own home corner, play corner, construction corner and reading corner. The oldest children can also let off steam in our play corridor: cycling, building towers, clambering over the cushion track or playing with wall puzzles. This creates extra quiet moments for the babies.
Outside we have a naturally landscaped, enclosed garden with a sandpit, outdoor kitchen and lawn. We love taking the children to the adjacent garden to wander through the bamboo forest. We have two musical pedagogical staff members who organise a music session every week. In addition, we participate in the Boekstart book programme from the library, which gives extra attention to reading. We work together with our neighbours: care organisation Amarant and training institute Curio. The children's hairdresser visits regularly.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Vlindertuin in Breda, part of Kober, was inspected on 30 June 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) West-Brabant. The location provides care for a maximum of 49 children aged 0-4 years in three core groups. On the aspects of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and parental rights, the location meets all statutory requirements. One violation was identified regarding accommodation: the space requirements were not in order. The Aardbeivlinder group had too few square metres for 16 children and the total number of registered childcare places (49) was incorrect. The licence holder made use of the recovery offer. Through written agreements with Amarant regarding the shared play hall and a reduction in the number of childcare places to 46, the location has been compliant with the requirements since 13 August 2026. The GGD advises the municipality not to enforce because the violation has been resolved.

Goede kinderopvang en erg kundig. Het ziet er schoon en gezellig uit. Het personeel is altijd supergezellig met de kinderen bezig. Ze leren de kindere...
