About this care
Welcome to BSO de Plu, located at Pastoor Doensstraat 5 in the heart of Bavel. We are part of Kober childcare and situated in the brand new Talent Center Bavel, together with primary schools De Spindel and De Toermalijn. This allows children to come straight to us after school.
Our location accommodates up to 74 children aged 4 to 12. We have a multifunctional space between the two schools, our own Kober rooms, learning squares, outdoor playgrounds and gymnasiums. On fixed days we rent the nearby sports hall De Huif, where our own sports coach organizes sports and games activities. We also make use of the Green Lung, a park with grass field across from the school.
Children can play sports, play games, do crafts, cook or just hang out with friends. We collaborate with local associations that provide dance and judo lessons in the gymnasiums. Our pedagogical staff provide a warm and safe environment where every child can develop at their own pace.

GGD West-Brabant conducted an incidental inspection at after-school care (BSO) de Plu in Bavel on 13 August 2026, commissioned by the municipality of Breda. The inspection took place following a request to increase the number of childcare places from 74 to 76. The location is part of Kober B.V. and is housed within the BreedSaam school partnership. The inspector assessed the modification procedure and accommodation requirements, including the available indoor and outdoor space. The provider created additional indoor space by incorporating the first-floor corridor into the care areas, among other measures. All assessed quality requirements have been fully met. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The GGD gives a positive recommendation regarding the change in the number of childcare places.
