About this care
Welcome to Klipper de Bres, our daycare center located at Han Hoekstrahof 200A in Hoorn. As part of IKC Klipper de Bres, we provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, safe and green environment. Our daycare group is small-scale with a maximum of 12 children, allowing us to give plenty of personal attention. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Our location is unique thanks to the beautiful nature discovery garden, where children can play, explore and learn in connection with the outdoors. We believe in the power of being outside and encourage natural curiosity. For children from 2 years old, we offer a toddler group where we work playfully on development and preparation for primary school.
Klipper de Bres is part of Stichting Talent and works together with SCIO Group. We stand for continuous development from 0 to 12 years, where childcare and education seamlessly connect. Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Klipper in Hoorn, part of Stichting Kinderopvang West-Friesland (SCIO Groep), was inspected unannounced on 4 June 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Noorden. The location provides care for a maximum of 48 children in 3 core groups and delivers early childhood education (voorschoolse educatie/VE) through the Startblokken programme. All assessed conditions regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation have been met. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The inspection history does show earlier violations in 2024 (safety and health policy) and 2025 (early childhood education), both of which have since been resolved following municipal instructions.
