Kinderwoud Ekke de Haan

We are Kinderwoud Ekke de Haan, located at Zegge 2 in the heart of Heerenveen. As a daycare centre we welcome children from 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our modern child-centre has recently been completely renovated and offers bright, spacious group rooms with views of the surrounding greenery. We work closely with Ekke de Haan primary school, ensuring a smooth continuous learning path from childcare to school. We focus on the broad development of every child. We provide pre-school education (VE) in our toddler groups, allowing children to develop language, numeracy and social skills through play. Children with a VE indication receive extra support and may attend additional sessions. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a warm, colourful place where your child feels safe and dares to discover new things. Our opening hours are from 07:30 to 18:00, and parents can choose half-day or full-day care. We use horizontal group structures, so babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are grouped by age.
