GGD Fryslân conducted an unannounced post-registration inspection at after-school care (BSO) Kinderwoud De Blinker in Bolsward on 10 November 2025. The location, housed in primary school De Blinker, provides care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 13 years. The inspection assessed all quality aspects: administration, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights. All inspected items meet the legal requirements. The pedagogical practice demonstrated sensitive and responsive guidance. Staff qualifications, staff-to-child ratios, and safety measures are in order. The accommodation comfortably exceeds space requirements. The parent committee has not yet been established, but the holder has until 25 February 2026 to do so and is demonstrating sufficient effort. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
