Summary

The annual inspection by GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond on 14 July 2026 at Kinderwereld (BSO) in Rotterdam shows a mixed picture. The location provides after-school care (BSO) to 10 children aged 4 to 13. While the pedagogical practice, safety, parent information, and staff registration are in order, two quality requirements were found to be non-compliant. The pedagogical policy lacked concrete descriptions of ratio deviation frameworks and tasks of not fully qualified personnel. The staff-child ratio could also not be verified because the attendance list was blank; the provider only completed it afterwards. Recovery offers were made for both issues and were successfully completed: the policy has been amended and a new procedure for direct registration of children has been introduced. The previous inspection in June 2025 also had a recovery offer (space requirements) which was likewise resolved.
