The inspection report of 2 February 2026 concerns an unannounced investigation following registration with Kinderopvang Vlinders B.V., an after-school care (BSO) in Maassluis for 30 children (ages 4-13). The location has various quality requirements in order, including administration, pedagogical policy and practice, qualification requirements, and accommodation. However, four important requirements were not met: an employee was not linked in the Childcare Persons Register, the calculation for pedagogical policy staff was missing, the safety and health policy was not in line with practice (incorrectly placed smoke detectors, defective CO₂ meter, cold room), and the staff member had insufficient knowledge of reporting, consultation, and filing obligations. In their response, the holder indicated that all shortcomings have been resolved, including additional team instruction. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises enforcement.
