About this care
Kinderopvang Villa Vrolijk in Sint-Maartensdijk is a small-scale daycare centre located at Noordpoort 8. We provide care for up to 16 children from 10 weeks to 4 years old. Our aim is to create a familiar and safe environment where children feel secure and their natural curiosity is stimulated.
We work with a close-knit team that responds flexibly to each child’s individual needs and the wishes of parents. Communication with parents is very important to us: we use the Bitcare app to share photos and messages, and maintain personal contact during drop-off and pick-up times.

Summary
Kinderopvang Villa Vrolijk in Sint-Maartensdijk provides daycare for a maximum of 16 children aged 0-4 years in one vertical core group. During the annual unannounced inspection visit on 5 August 2025, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) identified two violations: the incidental formation of a combined group (ages 0-13) without this being structurally documented in the pedagogical policy, and the absence of parental consent for care in a second core group. Both violations have since been remedied: the holder has decided to no longer offer combined groups and has adjusted the pedagogical policy accordingly. All other assessed items (staffing, Certificates of Conduct, accommodation, parent information) immediately met statutory requirements. The GGD advises the municipality not to take enforcement action.
