Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) 't Hofje in Tiel provides day care for children from 0 to 4 years old in a characteristic building with its own enclosed grounds between Stationsstraat 21 and Boterkampsteeg 28. With 2 baby groups, 2 toddler-preschool groups, 2 preschool-plus groups and a toddler playgroup, we work with fixed teams in home groups for calm, trust and a sense of home. Our pedagogical approach focuses on all developmental areas through theme-based work, with a new theme every 6 weeks. On 6 October 2025, GGD Gelderland-Zuid conducted a registration inspection at Kinderopvang 't Hofje in Tiel, a new daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) location for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. The operator, Mrs. Wagemakers, has been running childcare in Tiel since 2012.
