Summary

This inspection report concerns an unannounced incidental investigation on 9 March 2026 at after-school care (BSO) IKC De Wingerd in Zwaag, conducted by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Noorden on behalf of the municipality of Hoorn. The investigation was prompted by a situation at the location where work agreements had been reviewed following an incident. The investigation examined whether these revised work agreements had been documented in writing and whether staff members had been informed of them. Additionally, the safety of the outdoor area gate was investigated, following a report that children could easily open it. The location provides care for 90 children aged 4 to 13 years in 3 base groups. All assessed requirements have been met. The work agreements have been documented in the location plan and communicated to parents. The gate has been fitted with a three-point pinch lock. No violations were identified and no enforcement measures were advised.
