About this care
Welcome to Kinderopvang Rocks, a small-scale, home-like childcare facility in the heart of Pesse at Dorpsstraat 25. We provide care for up to six children aged 0 to 4 years in a familiar environment that feels like a second home.
Our approach is based on small-scale care, personal attention, and elements of anthroposophy. Inspired by Rudolf Steiner's philosophy, the development of each child's individuality is central. Children are given the space and time to be themselves. We play with sustainable, natural, and realistic toys that stimulate the imagination. For crafts we use natural materials such as watercolor paint, beeswax crayons, wool, and silk paper. We celebrate seasonal festivals and live with the rhythm of the seasons.
We are open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We prefer two days of care per week to promote familiarization and secure attachment. A care day lasts 10 hours. The 2026 rate is €10.62 per hour, including food and drinks.
Our location features a spacious, cozy living room with an open kitchen, a challenging outdoor garden with a sandbox, bikes, and a playhouse, and warm sleeping rooms upstairs.
