About this care
Welcome to Kinderopvang Purkie, a small-scale daycare centre located at Panoven 62 in IJsselstein. Since 2008 we have provided day-care and playgroup services for children aged 0 to 4 in a cosy, homely and familiar environment. Our aim is for every child to feel free to be themselves and to feel so at home that our centre becomes their second home.
We work with small groups guided by a permanent team of enthusiastic childcare professionals. We know the parents of our children personally; mutual involvement is important to us so that you can entrust your child to us with confidence. This personal approach creates a warm family feeling among staff, parents and children.
Kinderopvang Purkie is officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 412784208 and has capacity for up to 53 children. We offer pre-school education (VE) for toddlers aged 2.5 to 4 years, preparing them well for primary school. In addition to full-day care, half-day care is also possible.

Summary
Kinderopvang Purkie in IJsselstein provides daycare for up to 53 children in four groups for children aged 0 to 4 years, including a toddler group with early childhood education. During the annual inspection on 11 September 2025, it emerged that the pedagogical policy initially did not comply: the description of the core groups in the policy allocated 57 places, while only 53 were registered in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang/LRK). After a recovery offer, the location adjusted the policy, after which compliance was achieved. In all other examined areas – staff and groups, accommodation, early childhood education and deployment of pedagogical policy staff – the location scored satisfactory immediately. The staff-to-child ratios were in order, staff members hold the correct diplomas and certificates, parents are actively involved, and indoor and outdoor spaces are safe and sufficiently spacious. No other violations or areas for improvement were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality not to take enforcement action.
