Kinderopvang In 't Dorp in Herpen was inspected on 6 October 2025 by GGD Hart voor Brabant (Municipal Health Service). This unannounced post-registration inspection concerned a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for 24 children (0-4 years), divided over two base groups. The location meets all assessed quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights. The pedagogical practice showed sensitive responsiveness, encouragement of independence, positive social interaction, and transmission of norms and values. Staff administration, child-to-staff ratios, Certificates of Good Conduct (VOGs), and the personnel register were in order. The safety and health policy was up-to-date and childcare professionals acted in accordance with policy. The accommodation offered sufficient indoor space (3.8 m² and 4.06 m² per child) and outdoor space (8 m² per child). No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
