Summary

GGD Zaanstreek-Waterland conducted a registration inspection on 1 July 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Het Toverkind in Landsmeer, a new after-school care facility for a maximum of 30 children aged 4 to 7 years. The location is the second facility of provider Jurrina Plas - Bos and is situated on the first floor, with a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) from the same provider in the same building. All assessed components meet the legal requirements: registration, administration, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. However, the outdoor space is not suitable for children from age 7, as it is shared with another organization for younger children and cannot be adapted. The provider has therefore decided for the time being to only care for children aged 4 to 7 years and is exploring possibilities for expansion to older children. The GGD advises the municipality to include the location in the national register.
