Welcome to the daycare centre of IKC de Skeakel, located at Skoalstrjitte 14 in the heart of Sexbierum. In a beautiful, brand-new space we provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4. Our team of enthusiastic, professional childcare workers creates a warm, homely atmosphere in which every child feels safe and seen. We follow a fixed daily rhythm that offers calm and predictability—exactly what young children need. Every child is unique, so we tailor care, play and development to what you as parents wish and what suits your child. At drop-off and pick-up we take plenty of time for a personal hand-over; we value these moments as much as the hours in between. Through open communication a bond of trust grows quickly, allowing you to entrust your most precious possession to us with peace of mind and ensuring your child will arrive with a big smile. Our daycare is part of IKC de Skeakel, a Christian-inspired children’s centre where children from 0 to 12 years can receive both care and education. Rooted in Christian values and norms—we regularly share Bible stories—we provide a respectful and positive environment. At the same time we welcome families of all backgrounds; everyone is invited. Together we form a chain of children, parents, staff and villagers who reach out to one another and strive for the very best for our children. Feel free to drop by and experience the atmosphere.
