Kinderdagverblijf De Schat Waspik B.V. was inspected unannounced on 6 November 2025. The childcare center accommodates a maximum of 39 children aged 0-4 years in three fixed base groups. All assessed quality requirements within the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation are fully met. The pedagogical policy is clearly defined and consistently implemented in practice, with a fixed daily schedule and clear rules that provide children with structure and security. Early childhood education using the Uk & Puk method is well-developed: children from 2.5 years of age receive a minimum of 960 hours of early education (VE) over an eighteen-month period. Staff members hold the required diplomas, certificates and 3F language proficiency level; two work-based learning (BBL) students and one intern are correctly supervised and deployed. The group rooms (3.5-3.6 m² per child) and outdoor play space (3.07 m² per child) are safe, spacious and age-appropriately furnished with various play corners and sufficient materials. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipal executive board is advised not to take enforcement measures.
