GGD Gelderland-Zuid conducted a registration inspection on 3 July 2026 at the new daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Kinderopvang De Hummeltjeshoeve in Spijk. This concerns a location yet to open, operated by Kinderopvang de Hummeltjeshoeve B.V., planned to open on 1 September 2026 with a maximum of 30 children (expandable to 60). The inspection assessed registration, pedagogical policy, staff and groups, safety and health, and accommodation. All examined components comply with the statutory requirements. The operator has a sound pedagogical and safety policy, all required VOG and PRK registrations are in place, and the spaces are sufficiently large. The practical layout will be further inspected after opening.
