Kinderopvang de Beestenboel

Welcome to BSO De Beestenboel at Bouwmansweg 3 in Rheezerveen. We provide after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 in a homely, green setting. Our qualified staff pick the children up after school from BS Neel, De Steenen Brug, Montessori and OBS Aan de Roer and bring them to our location, where a relaxed afternoon full of play, discovery and outdoor fun awaits. Nature is at the heart of everything we do. Children can freely explore our large garden, help in the vegetable patch, cuddle the farm animals and build dens in the little forest. Indoors we have a creative corner, reading nook and a kitchen corner for baking cookies. We work thematically and follow the children’s interests. Recently we organised a ‘nature day’ where the children built their own huts, studied insects and harvested vegetables. During school holidays we run holiday care with a varied activity programme: treasure hunts, sports and games days, craft workshops and trips to the petting zoo or the woods. Parents drop off and collect their children themselves; we provide a fruity snack and a healthy sandwich. Special diets can be discussed in person. Our team consists of five qualified childcare professionals who give every child personal attention. Together with parents and school we keep communication open, so every child feels safe, seen and challenged.
