KinderKade is KinderKade. There is only one, and it will stay that way. Our daycare creates memories every single day.
Located between the meadows of Koeienkade on the edge of Muiden, with the beautiful Muiderslot castle in our front yard, our location is truly unique. Instead of a tiled courtyard, we have spacious green gardens of over 3,000 m² with lush grasslands. The farm has cows and calves year-round. Together we feed the chickens and frequently visit the cows. Children receive boots from us, because outdoor play is essential.
Inside, it's warm and welcoming with comfortable sofas and cozy carpets. Children often spend more hours here than at home. We primarily work with permanent staff - familiar faces with minimal turnover. Many employees have been with us for 10 years. Since there's only one location, staff aren't deployed elsewhere.
In collaboration with a specialized caterer, children enjoy delicious warm meals, often organic, seasonal and varied. Eating together makes eating enjoyable - learning to eat is part of growing up. We love crafting together, but there's no forced production. Children who prefer reading or dressing up find their place too.
Our opening hours are generous: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We understand parents sometimes get stuck in traffic and don't charge late fees. When you've previously enrolled a child with us, your other children automatically receive priority placement.Read more

Summary
The annual inspection of 30 March 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Kinderkade B.V. in Muiden presents a mixed picture. The pedagogical practice meets all requirements: staff provide emotionally safe childcare and attune well to children. Personnel registration, qualification requirements, pedagogical policy officers and childcare stability are also in order. However, several shortcomings were identified in the areas of staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. The location received a recovery offer (herstelaanbod) for all violations. The holder indicated in their response that most points have since been remedied, including updating the website, signing the parent committee regulations and amending the safety policy. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipal executive to enforce in accordance with the enforcement policy.
