About this care
Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Vrijland, located at Waldfeuchterbaan 140 in Maria Hoop – the narrowest part of the Netherlands! We offer professional, small-scale daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in a safe, calm, and familiar environment surrounded by nature.
Our location features its own animal pasture with sheep, goats, chickens, and guinea pigs. Children learn to care for animals in a playful way, building a natural connection with their surroundings. We also maintain a vegetable and fruit garden where children help grow produce used in our healthy, organic meals, including a warm lunch.
Outdoor play is central to our approach. Children can jump in puddles, make mud pies, discover worms, and even nap outdoors in special outdoor beds. This strengthens their immune system, vitamin D production, and supports physical and cognitive development.
Our team of professional pedagogical staff ensures each child receives personal attention in small groups. We are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 216101293, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance.
Kinderdagverblijf Vrijland is a place where children grow up in a green, loving environment. We warmly invite you to come and see for yourself!Read more

The location has a large outdoor space with discovery garden, vegetable garden and animal meadow. Staff hold the required qualifications and Certificate of Conduct (VOG) statements, the premises are safely and appropriately designed, and parents are well informed.
Reviews
