Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf & BSO Onder de Boompjes in Velp, located at Beukenlaan 6 on the ground floor. Our location lies at the edge of the forest and offers care for children aged 0 to 12 years in horizontal age groups. We focus on peace, nature and personal attention. Being outside is not an exception but the norm: from April to October we open and close outside, and even in winter we put on our rain boots for daily outdoor time. Our daycare (0-4 years) works with four horizontal groups: De Piepjonge Muisjes (0-1 years) for babies in a calm, warm environment focusing on rhythm, feeding, sleep and bonding. De Huppelende Konijntjes (1-2 years) for toddlers discovering the world in motion with songs, circle time and outdoor play. De Lieve Rupsen (2-3 years) where children learn independence with daily rhythm cards, theme corners and plenty of creativity and movement. De Fladderende Vlinders (3-4 years) prepare playfully for primary school with the VVE program Kiki, toddler dance, nature experiences and thematic play. Our after-school care (4-12 years) has three groups: De Vrolijke Uiltjes (4-6 years), De Slimme Vossen (6+ years) and the sporty Wolven (in development). Children play daily in our discovery forest, help in the vegetable garden or walk to the petting zoo. Each child has a mentor who follows development via the Kind In-Zicht observation system. Parents are kept informed through the KidsKonnect parent app with daily photos and messages. We work with the Pedagogisch Verrijken method with KIKI and offer early childhood education (VE) for children with a VE indication.
