About this care
Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf M&M, a warm and small-scale daycare centre located at Rijswijkseweg 530 in the Laak district of The Hague. We are part of Pavion – Tojo and provide care for up to 14 children in one vertical group, where children aged 0 to 4 play, discover and grow together. Our homely premises feature a cosy playroom, a separate bedroom, a child-friendly kitchen and a large, secure outdoor play area where children can run free.
At M&M your child’s own rhythm is central. We follow the sleeping, eating and play times that are usual at home as much as possible, so that your child feels safe and familiar. Our experienced pedagogical staff offer small-scale, personal attention and work from a familiar, homely atmosphere. There is room for rest, cuddles, songs and stories, but also for building, painting, sand and water. The outdoor play area invites running, cycling, swinging and discovering nature.
Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07.30 to 18.00. Half days are possible and we charge an hourly rate starting from € 6.10. Strengths
- Staff interact with children in a loving and respectful manner
- Daily program is recognizable to children and allows room for choices
- Pedagogical policy is concrete and tailored to the location
- All staff hold appropriate qualifications and meet the IKK language requirement
- Safety and health policy is up-to-date, including policies on missing children, safe sleeping, and backup staffing
- Staff are familiar with the reporting code for domestic violence and child abuse
- Pedagogical coaches provide sufficient coaching to all staff members
Shortcomings
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date administration of staff schedules and attendance records that correspond to the actual deployment of staff and children
Violations
- Overview of deployed staff and children's attendance records is incorrect: schedules and lists do not match the actual situation (for example, trainees and children are scheduled in the wrong groups)
- Deployment of staff in training (BBL student) was not in accordance with the Childcare collective labor agreement: no supervision plan drawn up with written consent, and formative employability not documented in writing (violation resolved through recovery offer on 7 April 2026)
Summary
Kinderdagverblijf M&M in 's-Gravenhage, located on Rijswijkseweg since 2011, provides care for up to 30 children aged 0 to 12 years in two core groups. The annual unannounced inspection by GGD Haaglanden shows a predominantly positive picture with good pedagogical practices and adequate safety provisions. However, two violations were identified in the domain of Staff and groups: incorrect administration of deployed staff and attendance records, and the absence of a supervision plan for a BBL student. The violation concerning the supervision plan was resolved through a recovery offer on 7 April 2026. The violation regarding administration remains unresolved. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises enforcement in accordance with the municipal enforcement policy.
