About this care
Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Koetjeboe, located in the converted barn of our dairy farm at Dalweg 12 in Stadskanaal-Noord. We are a small-scale, professional daycare for children aged 0 to 4, where outdoor life and the farm take center stage. Our children visit the farm daily, feed the calves and discover farm life.
Kinderdagverblijf Koetjeboe is open Monday through Thursday from 07:00 to 18:00 and Friday from 07:00 to 13:30, 47 weeks per year. We work with a vertical group accommodating a maximum of 16 children at a time, ensuring each child receives the attention they deserve.
Outdoor play is central to our approach. Our fenced outdoor play area with sandbox, slide, bikes and playhouse borders the pastures. There is plenty of attention for the animals: calves, sheep, ponies and the rabbit. Every day the whole group visits the farm. We work with seasonal themes such as Easter, Sinterklaas and Christmas.
Trees Poelman, owner and mother of three sons, started Koetjeboe in January 2008. Together with a permanent team of qualified pedagogical staff (Tara Koopman, Karin Kamst and Karin Bergman), we create a homely, relaxed atmosphere. All staff hold relevant diplomas, first aid and BHV certification and receive annual training.
