Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Joesboef, located at Bijlmerdreef 1237 in Amsterdam Zuidoost. At our daycare, children feel right at home. We provide affordable childcare with a warm, homely atmosphere where babies, toddlers and preschoolers are lovingly cared for by professional pedagogical staff.
Our location is specially designed for children aged 0 to 4 years. We work with pre-school education (VVE) using the Pyramid method. Through play, children learn counting, arithmetic, language, and recognizing shapes and colors. Your child's development is central to everything we do.
We offer both full-day and half-day care. Our caring and enthusiastic teachers create a safe and familiar environment where your child can develop optimally. We believe it's important that parents and children feel at home with us from the very first moment.

Summary
Kinderdagverblijf JoesBoef in Amsterdam-Zuidoost provides care for 60 children in 5 groups. The annual inspection on 4 August 2025 shows a predominantly positive picture. Pedagogical quality is good: children experience emotional safety, are stimulated in language and social skills, and the VVE programme Piramide is structurally offered. All staff hold the correct diplomas and certificates. Three violations were identified: a leak in the baby sleeping room requiring babies to sleep in the group room, missing written consent for tummy sleeping, and an incomplete parent committee. All violations were resolved through a recovery offer; the bedroom is temporarily shared, parents have submitted consent retroactively, and the parent committee has been supplemented. Not all toddlers participate in the mandatory 10 hours of VVE per week; parents choose not to make use of this. The municipality is advised not to impose enforcement measures.
