About this care
Kinderdagverblijf Jij & Ik is a small-scale, cozy and homely daycare center located at Koningsplein 2 in Afferden. By keeping our daycare small, we can focus on the interests and needs of parents and children. A maximum of 32 children can come play with us each day. At Jij & Ik we have two vertical groups, the Schuperts and the Streupers.
The group rooms are of course furnished for these specific age groups of the children. Our outdoor space is divided into two play areas so that the little ones can explore in peace and safety and the toddlers can let off steam.

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Jij & Ik in Afferden was inspected unannounced on 29 September 2025. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) concludes that the location meets all assessed statutory quality requirements. The pedagogical policy is in place, followed, and discussed with the team. The staff-to-child ratio, three-hour rule, and deployment of interns are in order. Children are cared for in fixed core groups with permanent staff members, which provides stability. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipality of Druten is advised not to take enforcement action.
