About this care
Kinderdagverblijf De Toverput is located in a charming white farmhouse in the heart of the Fluitersmaat residential area in Renkum. We provide small-scale day care for up to twelve children aged 0 to 4. Our vertical group brings babies, toddlers and preschoolers together, allowing each child to develop at his or her own pace while enjoying the security of a familiar group.
Our qualified pedagogical staff offer personal attention every day. Together with hand-puppet Puk we explore the world around us and stimulate language and speech development. We use the VVE programme Uk & Puk, preparing your child for primary school in a playful way. The rooms have a homely atmosphere and the play materials are carefully chosen to stimulate all areas of development.
Outside there is plenty of space to run, climb and discover. We play around the farmhouse and regularly make trips to the heath or a nearby playground. Healthy food and plenty of exercise are central; we provide balanced meals and lots of fresh air.
Kinderdagverblijf De Toverput is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. For care on Wednesday and Friday you can visit our sister location De Speelboerderij in Heelsum. We are open all year round, except for official public holidays and one staff training day.Read more

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Toverput in Renkum was inspected unannounced on 8 December 2025. The location provides small-scale care for a maximum of 16 children aged 0-4 years in a former farmhouse. The report shows that De Toverput meets all statutory quality requirements in the domains of pedagogical climate, staff & groups, and safety & health. The pedagogical policy is clearly described and is followed by the team; development is monitored, parents receive mentor contact, and information transfer is arranged. All four childcare professionals are qualified, have a Certificate of Conduct (VOG), are listed in the persons register, and meet the language and child first aid training requirements. The safety and health policy is up to date, risks have been mapped out, and measures (such as supervision on the stairs, four-eyes principle, first aid certificate) are consistently applied. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The holder received a recovery offer in 2024 within the same domain, but provided timely recovery at that time. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality not to take enforcement action.
