Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Kinderboom in Beek en Donk!
We are a small-scale daycare centre welcoming children from 0 to 4 years in two spacious groups. Because we keep our groups small, every member of our pedagogical staff knows every child and every parent personally. This creates a calm, familiar and secure atmosphere.
We go outside every single day, even when the weather is less inviting. Free play, climbing, exploring and simply enjoying nature outdoors stimulate the children’s senses, gross and fine motor skills, social abilities and creativity. In our own vegetable garden the children sow, harvest and prepare fruit and vegetables together. This way they learn where food comes from, and food they have grown themselves tastes even better!
Quality and safety are our top priorities. We provide a natural, low-stimulus environment where children can attach safely and develop at their own pace. Mutual respect is the foundation of our daily interactions. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 52 weeks a year (closed on a few public holidays).
Our hourly rate for 2026 is € 11.63. This includes vegetables, fruit, bread meals, drinks, diapers and care products. We do not offer half-day or flexible care; a full day counts as 11 hours.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Kinderboom in Beek en Donk was inspected on 17 February 2026 by GGD Brabant-Zuidoost. This was an annual inspection for 32 childcare places in two core groups for children aged 0-4 years. The location meets all assessed quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: there is a relaxed atmosphere, staff respond sensitively and responsively to children, and the basic goals of Riksen-Walraven are applied. All staff hold the correct diplomas, Certificate of Conduct (VOG) declarations and language proficiency certificates. The domestic violence and child abuse reporting protocol has been adequately established and is known to staff. A parent committee is not mandatory due to the maximum of 50 children; the operator involves parents in other ways. No points for improvement or violations were identified during this inspection. Previous inspections in 2024 and 2025 did show recovery points, which have since been resolved. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
