Kinderdagverblijf De Kei

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Kei, located at Rodenweg 3 in Mill. We are a green daycare center where children aged 0 to 4 can grow up in a natural environment. Our location is situated in the peaceful area 'De Bruggen', surrounded by forests and meadows. At De Kei, nature experience is central. We have goats, donkeys, chickens and rabbits. Children can pet, feed, care for and cuddle the animals, always supervised by a pedagogical professional. In our vegetable garden, children can sow seeds themselves, water plants and harvest vegetables and fruit such as strawberries, beans, tomatoes, cucumber, zucchini, lettuce and carrots. We also have fruit and nut trees including apple, pear and plum trees. We believe it is important that children can sleep and rest well. Each group has its own sleeping room and we also have special outdoor beds. Parents can choose whether their child sleeps inside or outside. Sleeping outside in the fresh air contributes to better resistance, healthy lungs and inner peace. Our vision is rooted in providing a safe, healthy and green environment where children can grow up naturally. We believe nature experience is essential for children's development. We work with three base groups: the Rupsen, the Bloemen and the Vlinders. Rupsen and Bloemen are semi-vertical groups (0-2.5 years) and Vlinders is our toddler group (from 2 years). We always invite parents for a tour so they can see with their own eyes what we have to offer. At De Kei we work with all-inclusive rates; diapers, baby formula, bread meals, fruit and drinks are included in the price.
