Kinderdagverblijf Buddies B.V.

Kinderdagverblijf Buddies Nieuwlandhof is a VVE daycare center in the Holendrecht-West neighborhood of Amsterdam-Zuidoost. The location is a stone's throw from the Holendrecht shopping center and a 3-minute walk from Holendrecht metro station. The AMC hospital, Gooiseweg and A9 highway are nearby. We are open from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. At Buddies Nieuwlandhof we work with 4 horizontal groups so children are with peers of the same age: Ukkies (0-2.5 years, max 12 children), Pukkies (0-2.5 years, max 16), Binkies (2-4 years, max 16) and Wijsneusjes (2-4 years, max 16). We offer VVE (preschool education) during school weeks, 4 days per week from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. During VVE hours we provide a healthy snack around 9:30 AM and a healthy warm meal. Diapers and wipes are included. Thanks to our central location we regularly explore the surroundings with the children: walks in Gaasperpark and Bijlmerpark, visits to the library, shopping at the market, visiting animals at petting zoo Brinkie, or playing at the playgrounds in Holendrecht. Our pedagogical approach is based on 'independent learning and play'. The groups feature challenging and stimulating corners where children make their own choices. Free play is central, with guidance when needed. We also believe in 'co-parenting together', with mutual involvement between parents and the organization. This location is registered in the National Childcare Register and meets all quality requirements. Parents can apply for childcare allowance. GGD Amsterdam supervises through regular inspections.
