BSO Villa Eigenwijs

Welcome to Kindercentrum Villa Eigenwijs at 2e Dwarsweg 52 in Gennep. We are a small-scale after-school care facility (BSO) with room for up to 20 children per day. Housed in a characteristic villa with a large green garden full of climbing trees, sandpits and sports equipment, we offer a safe and inspiring place where children can play, discover and grow. We pick children up daily from primary schools in Gennep and the surrounding area. From the moment school ends until 6:30 p.m. (6:00 p.m. on Fridays) we provide a familiar environment where children are free to choose their own activities. Our qualified pedagogical staff are always ready with a smile and a listening ear. Outdoor play, movement and creative activities are at the heart of our programme. Children can get creative in our studio, romp around in the garden, take part in sports and games together, or simply relax with a book in the quiet corner. We regularly organise excursions to the nearby forest, playground or petting zoo. Healthy nutrition is important to us. Every day we serve freshly prepared bread meals and fruit or a healthy snack. Water and tea are available throughout the day. Our groups are organised by age, giving toddlers, middle and upper primary pupils their own space and challenges. At the same time, children of different ages are encouraged to play together; we believe in the added value of both horizontal and occasional vertical group structures. In short, at Kindercentrum Villa Eigenwijs every child feels at home and has the space to be themselves.
