Kindercentrum St. Bernardus

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kindercentrum St. Bernardus, located inside St. Bernardus primary school at Koningin Julianastraat 41 in the centre of Clinge. We welcome children aged 4 to 12, offering care before school (7.30 – 8.30 a.m.) and after school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (2.30 – 6.00 p.m.). Wednesday afternoons we are closed unless enough families request care. Our programme is built on child participation: the children decide what they want to do and then plan and organise the activity themselves, guided by one of our regular pedagogical staff. This approach has already led to countless creative projects, sports tournaments and themed days. Fun and togetherness are our top priorities; we do, work and play as a team. During school holidays and teacher-training days we provide all-day care from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Our regular BSO group closes for the main school holidays, but holiday care is available at our partner location in Hulst. Extended opening hours (6.30 a.m. – 6.30 p.m.) can also be arranged on request. Because our rooms are inside the St. Bernardus school building, the transition from lessons to after-school care is as simple as walking through one door. Children can use the classrooms, the playground and the green outdoor spaces around the school, allowing them to keep playing, exploring and relaxing in a familiar environment straight after the school day ends. In short, at BSO St. Bernardus children choose their own adventure and we make sure it is safe, enjoyable and enriching.
