BSO Marijtje Doets 4

BSO Marijtje Doets 4 is located at Makassarweg 211 in Almere and is part of the family-run organisation Kindercentrum Marijtje Doets B.V., a trusted name in after-school care for more than 20 years. Our location welcomes up to 40 children aged 7 to 12. We have close partnerships with primary schools De Dukdalf and Het Kristal, allowing us to pick the children up safely after classes and offer them a warm, homely place to unwind. Child participation is key: our pedagogical staff draw up every activity calendar together with the children, so they have a real say in what we do and can decide on the spot whether to join in. We deliberately keep screens out—no TV, tablets, phones or game consoles—focusing instead on outdoor play, sports, creativity and discovery. During school holidays all BSO groups merge into one vibrant location with an alternative programme packed with creative workshops, joint cooking sessions, science & nature excursions, sports and varied outings. Our core values—respect, security, curiosity, self-confidence and collaboration—guide everything we do. Every child is greeted personally, eats in a steady group and shares the day’s experiences with us. Parents stay informed through our parent app, so you always know how your child spent the afternoon and can chat at home about the adventures of the day.
