Welcome to Rainbow Daycare located at Hoofdweg Oostzijde 1300 in Nieuw-Vennep! We are a rural and atmospheric childcare center where every day is fun. For our after-school care children (4-12 years), this means outdoor play and feeling truly at home.
Our enthusiastic and professional team of pedagogical staff is ready every day to work together with parents to lay a stable foundation for the children's future. We use our child tracking system 'Doing, Talking, Moving', which focuses on well-being and involvement. Because a happy and involved child develops better! This system gives our staff all the tools they need to address each child's talents.
For our after-school care children, a day at Rainbow Daycare means wonderful outdoor play in our challenging, safe and large gardens. We believe it's important that children can relax and play in a familiar environment after school. Additionally, all children receive a fresh, warm meal daily and healthy snacks – good for their growth and development.

Summary
GGD Kennemerland conducted an unannounced inspection on 30 September 2025 at Rainbow Daycare, an after-school care (BSO) in Nieuw-Vennep with 41 places for children aged 4 to 12. The location was taken over by a new operator on 1 July 2025. The pedagogical climate, safety and health, and accommodation meet legal requirements. However, serious shortcomings were identified in the areas of staffing and administration. Multiple childminding professionals were found not to hold valid qualifications, the administration was incomplete, and the staff-to-child ratio was not always met. There were also incorrect mentor assignments. The operator was given a recovery offer for the mentorship issue but has not fully remedied it. The operator states that the problems stem from deception during the takeover, in which forged diplomas were provided by the previous owner.
