Kindercentrum Het Apenstaartje is an independent, private childcare center located at Domela Nieuwenhuisweg 1 in Muntendam. The annual inspection showed that the location meets the statutory quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation. One violation was identified: the four-eyes principle was not sufficiently guaranteed because the exterior door was locked when only one staff member was present. The holder made use of the recovery offer and resolved the violation by keeping the door open when one staff member is present and installing an entry alert. The advice to the municipality is no enforcement, with a recommendation to adjust the number of childcare places from 20 to 16.
