About this care
Welcome to child daycare De Ontdekking, part of Kanteel Kinderopvang, located in Jenaplan Kindcentrum De Ontdekking at Rijzertlaan 242 in 's-Hertogenbosch. Our daycare offers care for children aged 0 to 4 years in both horizontal and vertical groups: two baby groups (0-2 years), two toddler groups (2-4 years) and one vertical group (0-4 years).
Our baby groups (Diamanten and Parels) provide a safe, familiar environment where we follow your child's eating and sleeping routine at home as much as possible. Toddlers explore the world in the Zeehonden and Krekels groups, where we work with an VVE programme (Het Kan!) based on the Jenaplan vision. The vertical group (Pinguïns) mimics a family situation where younger children learn from older children and vice versa.
Our modern building offers a play hall/gymnasium, a theatre, an art studio and a recently renovated outdoor area. Groups for children up to 8 years are located on the ground floor with direct access to the playground. The centre is centrally located between the Deuteren and Kruiskamp districts, near shopping centre Helftheuvel. Daycare is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We also offer toddler programmes (2.5-4 years) and after-school care (4-12 years) in the same building.Read more
