BSO De Kleine Tuin at Betjakstraat 4 in Almere provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 20 children aged 4–5 years in the 'Avocados' group, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The unannounced annual inspection visit on 30 October 2025 shows that the location meets all assessed legal requirements. The pedagogical climate is experienced as positive: the team works in accordance with the current policy plan, discusses this regularly in team meetings, and offers children freedom of choice, structure and age-appropriate activities. All staff are correctly registered in the PRK and hold a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG); the staff-child ratio is in order, backup support is available, and staff in training are supervised according to the collective labour agreement. Children are placed in one fixed core group with their own mentor. The space (110 m²) and materials are safe, clean and challenging; outdoor play takes place on a rooftop terrace and nearby school playgrounds. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality not to take enforcement measures.
