About this care
Kindercentrum Babbel is a small-scale daycare center on the edge of the village of De Wilp. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into three horizontal groups: a baby group (0-2 years), a toddler group (1-3 years) and a preschool group (2-4 years).
Our location at Meester Nennstiehlweg 8 is part of Stichting Quadraten and works closely with primary school De Steltloper in the Integral Child Center (IKC) where children from 0-13 years are cared for under one pedagogical vision.
We offer pre-school education (VVE), where we stimulate children's development in the areas of language, mathematics, motor skills and social-emotional development. Our pedagogical staff create a safe and familiar environment in which children can develop into independent, social and creative individuals.
Each group has its own sleeping areas and is equipped with appropriate play materials tailored to the age and developmental stage of the children. Kindercentrum Babbel in De Wilp, part of Quadraten Kinderopvang B.V., is a small-scale daycare center with three groups: a baby group, a toddler group, and a preschool group with early childhood education. At the annual inspection on 2 February 2026, all assessed quality requirements were met. The pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and premises all comply with legal requirements. The staff members are well-qualified, including VE-qualified and level 3F language proficiency. No violations or areas for improvement were identified during this inspection. In the past, there were shortcomings, including a recovery offer in January 2025 for the pedagogical policy and early childhood education, which has since been resolved. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises no enforcement action.
