About this care
Welcome to BSO De Leertuin, part of Kindercampus Impuls, located at Generaal Vetterstraat 27A in Amsterdam Zuid. We provide after-school care and holiday care for children aged 4 to 13. Our location accommodates up to 32 children and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 29 August 2022 under number 330656442.
As a social organization under the management of Groep Maatschappelijke Kinderopvang (GMK), we are committed to providing every child with optimal development opportunities. We work closely with schools, the local community, and the municipality. Play is central to our after-school care. Through play, children learn to cooperate, take on new challenges, and develop physically and mentally.
Our pedagogical staff are professionally trained and have a warm heart for children. They understand what your child needs to feel at home and give each child the space to grow. We offer a challenging program with VVE and BSO HIGH5, which continues to challenge children to develop further.
BSO De Leertuin is a place where children from different backgrounds come together. We see this diversity as a richness and teach children to learn from and with each other, to respect and appreciate one another. This creates a safe and familiar environment where every child feels valued.

Shortcomings
- The floor of room 0.05 is dirty and grimy; recommendation to have it thoroughly cleaned
- Rugs are bunched up; recommendation to lay them flat
- When caring for more than 18 children, room 0.06 must also be used in accordance with surface area requirements; this warrants attention at the next inspection
Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 17 November 2025 at BSO Kindercampus Impuls-de Leertuin in Amsterdam shows a well-functioning location that meets all quality requirements. The after-school care (BSO), part of Stichting Impuls, accommodates a maximum of 32 children divided across two base groups (ages 4-7 and 7-12). The pedagogical climate is rated positively: staff work in accordance with policy, guide children in norms and values, and stimulate social and personal skills. The team is stable with three permanent staff members and one work-based learning (BBL) student. There are two points for attention: the floor of group room 0.05 is dirty and grimy, and when more than 18 children are present, the second room (0.06) is not always used despite being required under surface area regulations. The holder acknowledges these points and will have the floor cleaned. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was issued.
