At Mikz Kinderopvang, we provide high-quality childcare for children aged 0 to 12 years. Our daycare centers (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) and after-school care (BSO) are designed so that children feel safe and secure, while learning and discovering through play. Our daycare centers (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) are suitable for children aged 0 to 4 years. Here we work with permanent childcare staff who build warm, trusting relationships with the children. We offer a daily routine that meets the children's needs, with plenty of time for play, sleep and meals. Our after-school care (BSO) is for children aged 4 to 12 years. Here children can come after school and during school holidays for challenging activities, relaxation and fun.
We use the Jaamo parent app, which keeps parents up to date with the latest news about their child, the location and opening hours. This app offers direct and personal communication between parents and our staff. Summary
After-school care (BSO) Kindcentrum Tierelantijn in Vlijmen was inspected unannounced on 21 July 2026 by GGD Hart voor Brabant. The location, part of Stichting Mikz Kinderopvang, provides care for a maximum of 55 children aged 4 to 7 years in three base groups. All assessed quality requirements were met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation. The pedagogical practice shows a relaxed, safe atmosphere in which staff respond sensitively and stimulate children in their social and emotional development. The team is stable and meets all qualification and registration requirements. Child-to-staff ratios were correct at the time of inspection (3 staff members for 27 children). One point of attention was noted regarding the accommodation: the entrance hall is minimally furnished, yet serves as an activity space during busy periods. The location manager has committed to addressing this. No violations were identified and no recovery offer (herstelaanbod) was issued.
