About this care
Kindcentrum Het Veldboeket is a public integrated childcare and primary school center in Veeningen, where childcare and education seamlessly blend together. We provide a continuous learning path for children from age 2, ensuring smooth transitions from toddler care to primary education. Our goal is for children to experience minimal disruption between childcare and schooling phases. Operating under one unified vision and management, all staff members work as colleagues, facilitating optimal communication and transfer of information.
The center was established through a merger between public primary school De Vaarboom in Fort and De Esdalschool in Veeningen. We are now part of Stichting Wolderwijs, which holds authority over all schools in the De Wolden municipality. We maintain consistent behavioral agreements and educational approaches across both childcare and early childhood education services.
Childcare services are available during school weeks from Monday to Thursday 07:30-17:30 and Friday 08:00-12:00. During school holidays, families can utilize other Kindcentra Wolderwijs locations. Kindcentrum Het Veldboeket in Veeningen, part of Stichting Kindcentra Wolderwijs, was inspected unannounced by GGD Drenthe on 25 March 2026. The location provides daycare (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for a maximum of 16 toddlers (ages 2–4) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, in the same space as the after-school care (BSO). The annual inspection showed that the location meets all assessed quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate and staff and groups. The deployment of the pedagogical policy worker and coach is plausible. The holder had no comments on the draft report. The GGD advises the municipality of De Wolden not to take enforcement measures.
