GGD Drenthe conducted an inspection on 2 April 2026 at Kindcentrum de Wegwijzer in Westerbork, a new after-school care (BSO) location with 22 childcare places operated by Stichting CKC Drenthe Kinderopvang. This was a registration inspection carried out before the location was operational. All assessed components meet the statutory requirements: general terms and conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights. The administration is complete, the safety policy is up to date, and the premises meet the requirements. Certain aspects, such as pedagogical practice and the functioning of the complaints procedure, can only be assessed during the post-registration inspection.
