About this care
Kindcentrum de Waterlelie is located at Molenstraat 9 in the centre of Rijssen and is part of Christelijke Opvang De Kindertuin. Since 13 March 2023 we provide daycare (KDV) for up to 46 children aged 0 to 4 years. We work with horizontal groups: two baby groups (0-2 years), one toddler group (0-4 years) and one toddler group (1-4 years). Each group has its own spacious, bright room and a fixed team of pedagogical staff who create a familiar environment.
At de Waterlelie we believe every child should feel safe and secure. Our pedagogical staff offer attention, structure and warmth. We closely monitor each child’s development and tailor activities and care accordingly. There is plenty of room to play, sleep and explore. The outdoor area – a sheltered garden with play equipment – invites movement and nature experience.
Parents can choose half-day or full-day care. We are open on weekdays from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. (from 7.00 a.m. on request). The annual inspection on 23 March 2026 at Kindcentrum de Waterlelie in Rijssen presents a positive picture. The childcare location, part of Christelijke Kinderopvang De Kindertuin with 42 places, meets all assessed requirements. The pedagogical practice is characterised by sensitive and responsive contact, in which children feel emotionally safe. The staff know the children well, respond appropriately to their needs and stimulate their development in a suitable manner. All staff members are correctly registered in the childcare persons register and meet the qualification requirements, including the IKK language requirement. The staff-child ratio was in order on the day of inspection. Full compliance was also found in the area of safety and health, including the domestic violence reporting code and the duty to report, consult and file charges. Parents are well informed through various channels, and there is a functioning parent committee and complaints procedure.
