Summary

GGD Noord- en Oost-Gelderland conducted an unannounced follow-up inspection on 2 October 2025 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Toverberg and toddler care Cocon in Silvolde. The inspection followed violations identified during the annual inspection of 19 May 2025: a BOL intern was deployed alone without a diploma and there was insufficient qualified staff present. The hall areas were also not freely accessible to children. Spot checks over weeks 37-39 showed that the organisation has implemented recovery measures: only qualified staff members are deployed, interns never work alone, and the hall is now set up as a play area and flexibly accessible according to the pedagogical policy. The location once again meets all legal requirements. The municipality was advised not to take enforcement action.
