Summary

Kindcentrum De Bonte Mol in Schermerhorn, a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for 16 toddlers (ages 2-4) operated by Blosse opvang, was inspected on 8 June 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Noorden. Initially, a violation was identified in the area of early childhood education: targeted activities with ECE-indicated children were not recorded in the child tracking system Kijk, but only in personal agendas of staff members. As a result, progress was not transparent to colleagues in case of absence. Following a recovery offer with a two-week deadline, the location corrected this by subsequently recording the activities in Kijk. All other assessed requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights were found to be satisfactory immediately. The GGD advises no enforcement.
