About this care
Kindcentrum De Akker KDV is located at Goudenregenstraat 75 in the heart of Gramsbergen and is part of PlusKinderopvang. Since 2022, we have been offering daycare services at this location for children aged 0 to 4 years, and since August 2022 we have also opened a baby group for children aged 0-2 years. This means that parents can access childcare from birth until primary school age.
Our daycare location has a capacity of 16 childcare places and is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:15 PM. For parents who need it, childcare from 7:00 AM is possible upon request. We offer flexible childcare options, including half-day care. Our certified pedagogical staff lovingly care for your child's development and well-being in a safe and familiar environment.
The Kindcentrum De Akker team works closely with the toddler care and after-school care located at the same premises. There is extensive consultation and coordination regarding pedagogical approaches and activities. Education and childcare staff learn from and with each other, utilizing each other's expertise, ensuring a continuous developmental path for children from 0 to 12 years.

Kindcentrum De Akker daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Gramsbergen, part of Stichting Welluswijs, was inspected by GGD IJsselland on 7 April 2026. The day care for 16 children (ages 2-4) with early childhood education meets requirements in five of the six examined domains: general conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and accommodation. The pedagogical climate is noted as a strong point, with sensitive guidance, thematic working with the early childhood education programme Uk & Puk, and good parent involvement through theme boxes. One violation was identified in the domain of parent rights: the alternative parent consultation is insufficient. Although no parent committee is required for fewer than 50 children, the provider does not sufficiently involve parents in genuine two-way dialogue on policy matters. Communication is mainly one-way via newsletters and the parent portal. Because this topic has been discussed repeatedly over the past two years, no recovery offer is being made. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises enforcement.
