Childminder agency (gastouderbureau) Kind & Zo is a franchise of Kind&co ludens that matches parents with childminders (gastouders) in the North Brabant region. The agency provides small-scale childminder care (gastouderopvang) for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old and remains involved throughout the entire care period. Parents can make their own arrangements with the childminder regarding flexible drop-off and pick-up times and holidays. All affiliated childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang), are certified, and hold a paediatric first aid certificate. Gastouderbureau Kind & Zo offers small-scale, flexible childcare where your child literally becomes 'one of the family'. You make your own arrangements for drop-off and pick-up times with the childminder (gastouder), which is ideal for flexible working hours. The bureau mediates between you and the childminder and remains involved throughout the entire childcare period. There are often other children to play with, which stimulates social development.
Subsidy & costs
The childminder (gastouder) sets their own hourly rate for the childcare. No registration fee is charged for enrolment with the childminder bureau. From the moment childcare begins, you pay the bureau agency and guidance fees of €50.00 for daycare and €25.00 for after-school care (BSO) per child per month. It does not matter how many childcare hours you use. With a minimum number of childcare hours per week, the rate is negotiable.
Trust & screening
All childminders (gastouders) at Kind & Zo are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) and hold a paediatric first aid certificate. The bureau has a complaints procedure, and in case of dissatisfaction parents can turn to the Childcare Disputes Committee. In 2025, the bureau received the Complaint-Free certificate from the Disputes Committee. Parents can view the LRK registration and GGD inspection reports online.
