About this care
Welcome to Kids Together Klein Sumatra, our intimate daycare centre located at Sumatraweg 105 in Almere. Since December 14, 2021, we have been providing a warm and secure environment for up to 12 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our homely atmosphere ensures that every child quickly feels at home.
We follow the Kids Together vision: every child is a unique individual who develops at their own pace. Our team encourages independence and curiosity by giving children space to explore. We use the VVE programme Uk & Puk to actively support language and speech development. In addition, we offer Shantala baby massage, a gentle way to promote body awareness and relaxation.
Our childcare staff are carefully selected and have the right training and experience. They regularly attend training to keep their knowledge up to date. Summary
Kids Together Klein Sumatra is a small-scale daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) location in Almere with one mixed-age group for a maximum of 12 children aged 2–6. During the unannounced inspection on 11 August 2025, the location was found to meet all assessed legal requirements. The pedagogical climate was assessed positively: the team works according to the up-to-date policy plan, offers the Uk & Puk early childhood program, and coordinates holiday activities with the after-school care (BSO). All staff hold the correct diplomas, meet the language requirement, and are properly registered. The staff-to-child ratio is in order, backup staff is always available, and each child has a dedicated mentor. The premises are safe, more than sufficiently spacious (48 m² indoors, 94 m² outdoors), and arranged in an age-appropriate manner with various play corners. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
