Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected BSO Kids2b Sportpaleis Appingedam on 19 May 2026. This was a follow-up investigation into the shortcomings identified during the annual inspection of December 2025 in the areas of pedagogical climate and accommodation. The location, housed in the clubhouse of football club DVC Appingedam, provides after-school care (BSO) for a maximum of 24 children aged 7 to 13 years with a focus on sports and physical activity. During the previous inspection, it was found that the supply of play materials did not align with the written pedagogical policy and that the indoor space was insufficiently furnished with craft materials and varied play materials. This follow-up inspection has shown that the location has resolved the identified shortcomings. There is now a craft cupboard with materials available, games are stored in a cupboard, and there is a new bench where children can read. The practice offering now aligns with the policy. The location meets the statutory quality standards in all assessed areas.
