About this care
Welcome to Kids Aktief BSO Zeeburgereiland, located at Foekje Dillemastraat 118B in Amsterdam. As part of Kids Aktief we provide the nicest, sportiest and most flexible after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. We pick the children up from school and offer a safe environment where fun and development come first. We use sport and physical activity as the main tool to let children discover a wide variety of sports and games, tailored to their age group.
Our team consists of qualified, sporty and pedagogically trained staff, all holding a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and a valid first-aid certificate. We work according to a clear pedagogical work plan which you can download as a PDF from our website. In addition, we follow a responsible nutrition policy.
The location has room for up to 50 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 21 January 2020 under number 802941114. Summary
On 8 April 2026, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Amsterdam conducted an unannounced annual inspection at Kids Aktief Zeeburgereiland, an after-school care facility (BSO) with a sports focus located in the Sportgebouw Bibian Mentel. The location accommodates a maximum of 42 children across two groups (ages 4-7 and 4-13) and is staffed by 4 permanent childcare professionals. All assessed quality requirements are met. The pedagogical practice scores well: attention is given to emotional safety, personal and social skills, and daily sports activities.
