GGD Limburg-Noord conducted an unannounced post-registration inspection at BSO Kiddos in Tegelen on 15 April 2026. The small-scale after-school care (BSO) for a maximum of 30 children (ages 4-13) opened in March 2026 in an apartment complex with its own entrance. Following a recovery offer, the location now meets all assessed requirements under the Childcare Act. One violation was identified: on 8 April 2026, according to the rosters, no staff member with a valid first aid (EHBO) certificate was present while children were on site. The holder demonstrated that they themselves, who had been scheduled for both daycare (kinderopvang) and after-school care (BSO), were in fact present with valid first aid qualifications. After this recovery offer, the location meets the requirements. All other areas, including pedagogical climate, staff, accommodation, and parental rights, were found to be compliant immediately. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
